Look who is 3!

Before I bring another child into this world, I feel the need to document the birthday of my 'baby'. Yes, this is OLD news....Bennett has been 3 for several months, but I am playing catch up, so bear with me folks. {Don't remind me that I haven't posted events from practically all of 2010! I'm going to get there slowly but surely. }

We celebrated the big #3 with a bouncy party and a Superman cake with a few of his nearest and dearest (and of course his brothers.... his favorite people in the whole world!).

Bennett goes by many names.... 'Little B', 'BB', 'Baby Bennett' and 'Bieber' just to name a few. This child is wise beyond his years. He uses words like 'awesome' and 'cool' and sprinkles in a few 'that's not fair' and 'like's' into his sentences (just in case any teenagers are listening). He does everything 'by myself' and knows all the words to Kidz Bop songs, including his current favorite 'Baby' {watch out Justin Bieber}. What ever happened to Sesame Street??? He can assemble a lego set in record time and take down his brothers in any wrestling match. {I often have to rescue the older boys from his kung-fu grip!}

He truly can't wait to be a big brother to our new baby girl but I must admit I am sad to say goodbye to my 'Baby Bennett'.... Sniff, sniff....

In case you are wondering...

...why Bennett is still not walking at 15 1/2 months.

We don't use the term 'laidback' loosely around here. (And we also don't finish dressing him at his insistence... he hates to be changed into clothing and throws a fit if we try, and we love his cute belly... so it's a win-win.) And my personal favorite- he stayed in this position for at least 5-10 min:

But, in case you think him unmotivated, he will walk for fruit snacks. See here.

Mess Maker

There are three rolls of toilet paper unrolled and laying in a heap on my bathroom floor as I type this. This child is into EVERYTHING. And we let him... because he is ADORABLY CUTE. (Pants? Who needs pants?).
